As the name suggests, Bikram Yoga Castro is located in the Castro district, a cozy neighborhood adjacent to the famous Twin Peaks of San Francisco. The studio is on the corner of Eureka and 20th streets, with plenty of meter-free street parking and a bright yellow door to welcome you.

Funky Door Yoga offers Bikram yoga with a touch of fun and flair. The studio owners believe in working hard while not taking life too seriously and strive to deliver quality yoga instruction with a dose of humor. (It is yoga, after all.) The studio is behind a McDonald's.

We flip for joy when we find spectacular work out facilities that are located within a block or two of recommended hotel properties. This Jewish Community Center (JCCSF) is pretty darn spectacular and recommended over the nearby Presidio YMCA for its better equipment and ambiance.
- Community Center

This community center is located inside the Presidio. Once a sprawling military base and now a National Park, the set-up is unusual because this YMCA covers two separate buildings located approximately 1/2-mile from one another: the Main Post Gym and the Letterman Pool.
