Seattle's largest park is an urban retreat for runners, hikers and mountain bikers. With over 500 acres, it has an extensive trail system, including a 2.8-mile loop from the Visitor's Center and a 6-mile loop. The park boasts Puget Sound views and access to secluded beaches. The heavily wooded area is also home to a variety of wildlife. Long distance runners can clock the 5+ miles to reach the park, located at the western tip of the chichi Magnolia neighborhood. Simply head north along Elliott to Dravus and follow the signs. Others may want to drive.
