There are quite a few of these fast casual eateries in the area. This one is in Clayton, just on the other side of Forest Park Pkwy from one our Clayton recommended hotels. There is also one downtown St. Louis on Washington Street close to the convention center. Crazy Bowls is a locally owned eatery that offers travelers a healthy option for fast food. The menu includes zesty wraps, bowls, veggie bowls, soups, quesadillas, salads and smoothies. In terms of ambiance, it's modern, bright, and upbeat. Nothing too fancy. Order at the counter.
The menu is big and nutritional information is available online. Highlights include the grilled teriyaki chicken wrap (528 calories) and the veggie with feta cheese wrap (677 calories). The "power bowl" comes with rice, chicken, beans, cheese, and salsa (570 calories). There's also a "Poke Bowl" and "High Protein Bowl". Big eaters may prefer the 700+ calorie fajita bowl while those looking to keep calories to a minimum can go for the high protein bowl with steamed veggies and chicken (no rice). Other menu items include the Santa Fe chicken salad, quinoa and kale soup, bbq chicken quesadilla, and a listing of side items, like veggies!
