This Peruvian restaurant occupies a refurbished industrial type space that maintains its lofty feel with high ceilings, exposed ductwork and stylish urban furnishings. Exposed brick, leather chairs, interesting light fixtures, brightly painted walls and honey colored wood flooring create a fun vibe.
The same menu is used for both lunch and dinner and there is much to like. Lighter options include the marinated and grilled chicken skewers, pan seared shrimp, quinoa salad with beans, avocado and onion, the market fish ceviche, and the roasted fish of the day. Hearty eaters have more to work with as many of the entrees either lean rich in terms of sauces or cooking method (sauteeing). There is sauteed mussels, beef tenderloin stir fried with sweet onions, tomatoes and garlic, pasta tossed in a creamy basil, walnut and spinach pesto, sauteed fish of the day and rich beef stew. Luckily veggie eaters can order MORE as a side dish along with beans, fries, rice, fried sweet plantains and yuca frita.
Open for lunch M-Sat beginning at 11a and dinner nightly.
