This hot yoga studio is located in the Clayton Area, about 10 miles from downtown. From I-40, take the Big Bend exit and turn right into the Richmond Center, where plenty of parking is available. The studio is located next to a Sprint store and close to OR Smoothie & Cafe. (Nice!). Locker rooms feature showers (with soap & shampoo dispensers) and cubbies for your personal effects. We suggest drinking plenty of water and not eating 3 to 4 hours prior to arriving. The practice room has rubber flooring and is heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity.

If traveling light, they've got you covered with mat & towel rentals for $3 each. Bottled water, vitamin water, and electrolyte supplements are available for purchase at $3 each. A Drop-in class is $25.  This studio also offers a 7 day out of towner deal consisting of unlimited yoga for $75. Days must be consecutive. Mat and towel rentals are included in this price.

New students will want to show up at least fifteen minutes ahead of time. Check the website for class schedule and more information.  Classes are 60 minutes or 90 minutes long and follow the Bikram sequence.  Inferno Hot Pilates (60 minutes) is also offered. There are typically 4-5 classes offered daily with the earliest starting at 6a and latest at 7p.

ABOUT BIKRAM YOGA:

Bikram Yoga welcomes beginners. This 90 minute class consists of 26 beginning postures and is conducted in a hot room (approx. 110 degrees) with, hopefully, high humidity. But don't be fooled into thinking beginning means easy - it doesn't! Iron men and couch potatoes, alike, have found themselves floored in "dead man's pose" just minutes into this challenging workout. You don't have to be strong or flexible or in excellent shape to do this yoga - you simply have to be willing. What we also really like about Bikram's is that every studio teaches the same sequence of postures so you always know you're going to get a full-body workout, a great benefit for travelers.
