While Hyatt's location is much less convenient for DC's Metro than the Ritz's (8 blocks vs. next door), its fitness center shines, a customized run route map is offered (created by yours truly), rooms are appealing, and a coffee bar is available in the lobby.

Way above average hotel gym in Arlington. Not located as conveniently to Metro stop as other properties.
Marriott - Crystal City

Not to be confused with the Marriott Gateway Hotel across the street, this property makes our cut, but it is a notch below the other recommended Crystal City accommodations. The mezzanine-level gym is adjacent to the indoor pool and sometimes a chlorine odor will greet you.
