As the largest public park in Paris and one of Montparnasse's beautiful greenscape gems, this park is a popular spot for curious tourists, romantic strollers and athletic-minded joggers.

A fantastic jogging route and unique urban escape during the day and a red-light district at night--bet you haven't seen that before?

Not a huge park, but big enough for a 1K dirt/clay path that encircles the perimeter, perfect for jogging or walking 3-4 miles (see our photos).

Paris has a public bike rental program ("Velib") that makes cruiser bikes available to anyone wanting to ride (see our photos). More than 20,000 bikes and 1,450 self-service stations are spread across the city.

On the south side of Paris (near the Cite Universitaire) in the 14th arrondissement, this park offers a small greenspace with a useful .94-mile asphalt path. Early birds who want to run inside the park must wait for the gates to open at 8am during the week and 9am on weekends.
