Unlike Rengstorff, Eagle Park does remain open year round providing lap swimmers with a worthy wet option at a reasonable price. For $6/day swimmers receive access to either an 8-lane x 25-yard box with backstroke flags overhead or a more "cozy" 5-lane x 20-yard lapper.
Serious swimmers will want to dip in the longer side as you get older folks and sidestrokers in the 20-yard section. Water throughout is maintained at 80F. Plenty of toys to go around and locker/shower facilities are adequate, typical public facility aesthetics (bring your own lock). The website has exact lap swim hours that vary by season.
